International Students Defined

International students are defined as a student from outside the United States planning to apply for an F1 visa where Wellington is the sponsor and completes an I-20 on the student's behalf. Special Note: Wellington's international student program is for Grades 7-12 only. Visit this International Students page for more information. If this definition does not apply to you, please change your answer above to NO.

Our program requires a high level of English proficiency for all international students. This is measured through a foreign language test (TOEFL or TOEFL Junior for students under 17 years of age) or Duolingo English test. The required minimum TOEFL Jr score is 800 for students entering grade 9-12. Students entering grades 7 or 8 do not have a required score but should be proficient in English. The TOEFL school code for Wellington is 2221. For Duolingo, we require a score of 90-100+.

Community Events for Early Childhood

Music & Storytime - Wednesday, December 9, 10-11 a.m.

Dance and sing along at Music & Storytime! Join us for music and stories with Wellington’s Early Childhood & Lower School Music Teacher Alyson Vigneron. During this session, children 5 and under will explore the world of music and drama through storytelling, songs, movement activities, and so much more! This is a free community event and does not include a formal Admissions presentation or campus tour.

Mindful Movement - Thursday, November 12, 10-11 a.m.

Join your little one on the mat for a joyful exploration of intentional movement, designed especially for children ages 2 to 3.5-years-old. Led by Ellen Rhomberg, Wellington’s assistant director of early childhood and lower school, this playful session blends developmentally appropriate yoga, stretching, and sensory engagement to support your child’s growth and connection. Yoga mats will be available, though you’re welcome to bring your own. Please dress comfortably and bring a refillable water bottle. This is a free community event and does not include a formal Admissions presentation or campus tour.
